Service Assured® Electric Repair Coverage

Automatic Enrollment & Costs (Effective March 1, 2025)

As of March 1, 2025, all eligible residential electric customers who are not enrolled will be automatically enrolled in Service Assured® Electric. The RPU Board approved this expansion on September 24, 2024, to include all eligible residential electric customers with underground or overhead services.

Program details

  • A fee of $1.99 will appear as a separate line item on your monthly RPU bill.
  • If enrolled in both Service Assured® Water and Electric, the total cost is $3.00.
  • No deductible applies to this coverage.

How to Opt Out

If you do not wish to participate in Service Assured® Electric, you may opt out. However, opting out means you will be responsible for any repair costs. For full details and the required opt-out form, view the Service Assured® Opt Out Form.
