Military Protection
Minnesota Statute 325E.028 Utility Payment Arrangement for Military Service Personnel provides protection against utility disconnection if a member of your household has been ordered into active military duty, for deployment, or for a permanent change in duty station during the period of active duty.

- Your household income is below the state median income, enter a payment arrangement that includes ten percent of your household’s gross monthly income toward your RPU bill.
- If your household income is above the State’s median income level, enter a reasonable payment arrangement that considers your financial resources and remain current with your payments.
- If you receive energy assistance, enter a payment arrangement that includes ten percent of your household’s gross monthly income toward your RPU bill.
