Public Notice Boil Water Advisory - Lifted
Rochester Public Utilities has lifted the boil water advisory for customers affected by the water main break in the NW high level pressure zone.
The advisory was a precautionary procedure, and lab tests revealed that drinking water was and remains safe for consumption. At this time, customers can resume normal water usage as pressure has returned and testing shows no contamination. The lifting of the boil water advisory was done in consultation with the Minnesota Department of Health.
If you are experiencing rusty water, please run your cold water taps until it clears.
