Ground source heat pumps are similar to ordinary
heat pumps, but use the ground instead of outside
air to provide heating, air conditioning and,
in most cases, hot water.
Air source heat pumps use the difference between
outdoor air temperatures and indoor air temperatures
to cool and heat your business. Because
ground source heat pumps use the earth's natural
heat, they are among the most efficient and
comfortable heating and cooling technologies
currently available. Though these heat pumps
can be more expensive to purchase up front,
the cost difference will be paid back over
time through lower energy bills. In addition
to lower energy bills, you can receive valuable
rebates from RPU on your purchase of a ground
source or air source heat pump.
