Mayor Ardell Brede visits RPU Service Center

ROCHESTER, MN—Mayor Ardell Brede visited the Rochester Public Utilities (RPU) Service Center today bringing a holiday message and treats to all RPU employees. The Mayor’s mode of transportation this year was a sleigh and reindeer atop a flatbed semi-truck trailer.

Each year the Mayor visits city offices to show support and thank employees for the hard work and effort put in over the past year. As the largest city-owned electric utility in the state of Minnesota, RPU represents over 200 City of Rochester employees.

“Having the Mayor make time in his busy schedule to visit RPU says a lot for what a great Mayor the city of Rochester has. His recognition of all employees of the city of Rochester is greatly appreciated,” said RPU General Manager Larry Koshire.
