RPU, Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce survey results

ROCHESTER, MN--- As a proactive corporate citizen, Rochester Public Utilities worked with the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce to conduct a survey of current Chamber Ambassadors regarding RPU's involvement and business activity in the community.

RPU's highest rating was on the question asking if RPU is an important member of the business community. The lowest ranking came when respondents were asked if the electricity provided by RPU is a good value.

As indicated in a rate survey conducted by Owatonna Public Utilities, RPU's electric rates continue to be competitive when compared to similar size utilities and RPU water rates are again among the lowest in the state and region.

The survey will be conducted again in December to measure a change in results.
