ROCHESTER, MN. — Rochester Public Utilities (RPU) sponsored the local American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) golf event that was held on August 3 at Willow Creek Golf Course. Through working closely with ASHRAE and supporting the organization's goals to improve energy conservation and to promote the use of new technology in HVAC&R, RPU can make great strides in reducing the need for new generation, improving local air quality, and being more energy efficient.

"By being a part of ASHRAE events, we can strengthening our relationship with local HVAC contractors and ASHRAE members to help the city of Rochester save energy and to help the local businesses save money through RPU's Conserve & Save rebate program," said Stephanie Yrjo, RPU commericial account representative.
